The District's open space and trail system is a well utilized feature of Durango West 2. With roughly five miles of trails, residents enjoy biking, walking, and running the trails as well as snowshoeing and cross-country skiing  in the open space during winter. The District conducts annual wildfire mitigation maintenance projects in our greenbelt/open spaces.
